NG installation & equipment is to be operated by trained & authorized persons only. | Do not reset / replace the critical equipment like regulator, meter, safety valve etc on the NG installations on your own. |
Keep the NG pipeline & equipment free from other pipelines / chemicals. Prevent any external load form acting upon it. | Do not install any heating equipment and sources of spark before / closer to the NG pipeline & installations. |
If the pressure of NG at the regulator shows considerable variance from the set pressures, close the main shut off valve & burner and inform SGL. | In case of prior information regrading shutdown og NG supply is served ot you, do not open the NG line valves till you receive confirmation form SGL. |
Always keep the approch safe and clear - between main gate, MRS and consumption point of NG for easy access / isolation in emergency. Inform SGL in case of maufacturing of NG installations / equipment or suspect of gas leakage and close the main shut off valve. | Do not make extensions from the existing NG pipeline or replace gas burners / utilites without the approval of SGL. |
Consult SGL if any modifications / construction works are to be carried out near the NG pipeline & equipment. | Do not carry out any fabrication works producing heat / spark near the NG pipeline and installations. |
If a FIRE occurs anywhere in your premises from any sources which is hazardous to NG installations, close the main shut off valve & inform SGL. | Do not lay utilities like electrical & telephone cables or construct chambers & structures closer to the NG pipeline laid underground in your premises. |
If any excavation works are to be carried out near / above the underground NG lines laid in your premises, inform SGL for providing needful guidelines to protect the gas line safety. | Do not keep / store inflammable like diesel, petrol, oil etc. near NG installations. |
Install DCP fire extinguisher & caution boards beside your NG utilities. | |
